Heavens & Earth - Egypt Astrophotography Competition

Synopsis: تمهيد 

​

المسابقة هي انعكاس لرؤية و مشروع "السموات والأرض" ، رحلة عبر المكان والزمان" للمصور الفلكي سامي العلبي.  يهدف المشروع لعكس  التنوع الجميل للتكوينات الجيولوجية الرائعة والطبيعة المختلفة للأرض تحت الأجرام السماوية. صورة تجسد الانسجام  و التناغم المطلق بين السماء والأرض

تتماشى المسابقة مع نتائج وأهداف المشروع ، و هو زيادة الوعي ونشر الشغف ودعم المصورين وعشاق التصوير الفلكي لنشر أعمالهم وجهودهم في العالم

The competition is a reflection of the vision and the project” Heavens and Earth , A Journey through Space and Time” by the Astrophotographer samy olabi. The concept is to reflect the beautiful diversity of the wonderful geological formations and the different nature of the land under the celestial bodies. An image that embodies the harmony between heavens and earth.

The competition aligns with the outcomes and aims of the Project , which is increasing the awareness , spreading the passion and supporting the photographers and astrophotography enthusiasts into spreading their works and efforts to the world.

The competition is organized by Samy Olabi in partnership with Nikon Middle East , Nikon Egypt ,Hutech , IDAS ,  Fotoexpress and  OPMS media and VR solutions company.

1st Prize Winner: will win a Dual Band IDAS NBZ Hutech Astro Filter + Mirrorless Camera Filter Drawer for Nikon Z + 500 $ Voucher from Nikon Egypt on Nikon Full Frame Z Cameras.

2nd Prize Winner: will win a Dual Band IDAS NBZ Hutech Astro Filter + Mirrorless Camera Filter Drawer for Nikon Z + 500 $ Voucher from Nikon Egypt on Nikon Full Frame Z Cameras.

Categories : الأقسام

​

السموات : تدور هذه الفئة حول التصوير الفلكي لأجرام السماء العميقة ، حيث يتم تصويرجسم أو أكثر من أجسام السماء الليلية من خارج نظامنا الشمسي مثل السدم والمجرات والعناقيد النجمية. يمكن التقاط الصور إما باستخدام تلسكوب أو عدسة على أي نوع من الكاميرات وأجهزة تعقب النجوم

الأرض : تدور هذه الفئة حول المناظر الطبيعية التي تم التقاطها في الليل مع خلفية السماء الليلية. صور بزاوية واسعة  بأستخدم أي نوع من  الكاميرات ميرورليس أو كاميرات اس ال ار

Each Participant is allowed to enter 2 photos for each of the following categories.

​

Heavens: This category is about Deep sky Astrophotography , photographing one or more night sky object from outside our Solar System such as Nebulas , Galaxies , Star clusters. The photos could be taken either using a telescope or a lens on any type of cameras and star trackers.

​

Earth: This category is all about landscapes taken at night with the night skies as a background.  It is Wide angle images using any type of mirrorless or DSLR Cameras.

 

Conditions : الشروط

​

 يُسمح لكل مشارك بالمشاركة بحد أقصى 4 صور (2 في كل موضوع)

أن تكون كل الصور ملتقطة في المدة بين أكتوبر 2020 الي اكتوبر 2021

يبدأ التقديم في 7 سبتمبر 2021

آخر موعد للتقديم هو 7 نوفمبر 2021

 سيتم الإعلان عن قائمة المصورين الأولية (المرشحين) نهاية نوفمبر 2021

إعلان الفائزين سيكون في منتصف شهر ديسمبر

هذه المسابقة مفتوحة لجميع المصورين المقيمين بشكل قانوني في مصر فقط.

لا يُسمح بأي تركيب أو مزج من مواقع تصوير مختلفة بأي شكل

يُسمح بـ   دمج البانوراما و دمج التكديس للموضوع الذي يتم التقاطه في نفس الليلة والموقع ونفس موضع الحامل ثلاثي القوائم

يجب أن تكون الصور المشاركة في كل موضوع من داخل مصر.

 بإرسالك الصور عبر هذا الموقع فإنك تؤكد أن كل صورة

تم تصويرها و تعديلها بواسطة المصور فقط 

هي من عمل المشارك و تم التقاط جميع البيانات من قبله دون مساعدة المراصد على الإنترنت

لا تنتهك  الصور حقوق الطبع والنشر أو أي حقوق أخرى لأي طرف ثالث

لديه موافقة خطية من أي أفراد يمكن التعرف عليهم في الصورة

لا تحتوي على أي محتوى أو مواد فاحشة أو تشهيرية

لا تخالف أي قانون أو إجراء احترازي أثناء إنتاج الصورة

يجب ألا تشير الصورة ضمنًا إلى أي آراء وأفكار سياسية بأي حال من الأحوال

• Every participant is allowed to enter with maximum 4 photos (2 in each category)

• All Photographs should be shot between October 2020 and October 2021.

• Submission starts at 7th of September 2021

• The last date of submission is the 7th of November 2021

• The announcement of shortlisted photographers will be end of November 2021

• The announcement of winners will be in mid December 2021.

• This contest is open to all photographers who are legally residing in Egypt only.

• No composites or blending from different locations and focal lengths is are allowed by any chance.

• Stacking and panorama stitching is allowed subject that it is taken on the same night , location and same tripod position.

• The Photographs from each categories should be taken from within Egypt.

• By submitting Images via this website you confirm that each photo :

• Was taken and processed by the participant.

• It is the participant original work and all data are captured by him without the aid of online observatories.

• Does not infringe the copyright or any other rights of any 3rd party.

• Has written consent from any individuals identifiable in the photograph.

• Does not contain any obscene or defamatory content or material.

• Does not break any law or precautionary measure. During and while producing the image.

• The Image should not imply to any political opinions and ideas by any means.

لكل من المشاركات ، يرجى تحميل الصورة النهائية فقط

يجب ألا يقل حجم الصورة عن 2 ميجا ولا يتجاوز 6 ميجا  (باستثناء الصور RAW)

يرجى إعادة تسمية الصورة مع العنوان المختار للصورة

قم بتحميل ملف وورد مع مشاركاتك وقم بكتابكة اسمك بالكامل والبريد الإلكتروني وعناوين المشاركة ووصفًا مختصرا  لكل صورة ، ووصف الموقع والتقنيات والمعدات المستخدمة وإعدادات الصور إلى جانب البيانات الفنية الأخرى

بالإضافة إلى التقديم و تحميل الصور المشاركة عبر الموقع، يجب تحميل المشاركات على  الانستاجرام و الفيس بوك، مع الاخذ بهذه الخطوات و الشروط

شرح بسيط عن الصورة المشاركة.

إذا تم إدراج صورتك في القائمة الأولية ، فسوف نتصل بك في نهاية نوفمبر 2021 عبر عنوان البريد الإلكتروني الذي قدمته. قد تُطرح عليك أسئلة حول صورتك خلال فترة فحص البيانات لدينا. نحتفظ بالحق في إزالة صورتك من القائمة المختصرة إذا كنت لا تفي بقواعدنا أو وجدت شكوك تقنية بشأن صحة صورتك.

سيتم إبلاغ المشاركين المختارين في القائمة الأولية لإرسال الملفات  اللصلية (للصور الفردية وملف  واحد فقط للصور )

• Submission will be via email to : competition@heavensearth.ae

• For each of the entries , please upload the final image only.

• The size of the photo should not be less than 2 MB and should not exceed 6 MB (except the raw images)

• Rename the files with the chosen title for the image

• Upload a word file with your entries and list down your full name , email , and the titles of the entries and a brief description about the photo , describing the location , the techniques and gears used, and the settings of the photographs along with all other technical data.

• In addition to the submission via google drive , the entries should be uploaded on  Instagram/Facebook, with the following steps and conditions :

• follow @NikonEgypt and @samyolabi & @ heavens.earth.ae

• On the caption of each post, please include the following :

• 1. The hashtags #Nikonmea #NikonEgypt #heavensEarth , #Heavensandearth , #samyolabi , #hutech , #OPMS

• 2. The gears that you used to take the shot

• 3. A brief description or narration about the photo

• If your photo is shortlisted, we will contact you on end of November 2021 via the email address you provided. You may be asked questions about your image during our data checking period. We reserve the right to remove your image from the shortlist if you do not meet our rules or we are concerned about the veracity of your image.

• The shortlisted participants will be communicated to submit the raw files of the (single images and only one raw file of the stacked/panorama images)

• By submitting an entry, each Entrant agrees to these competition rules and guarantees that they are the sole copyright owner or representative of the Image. If organizers and partners have any claims brought against them due to your breach of this guarantee, you will be required to compensate them in full for any losses and costs incurred due to those claims.
